Automotive services
Before attending we ask for your vehicle's make, model and year, and whether the key is a plain blade, a remote fob or a proximity key. Some vehicles require dealer-only equipment; if yours is one of them, we tell you on the phone rather than charging you a callout to find out.
- Vehicle lockouts with non-destructive entry tools
- Spare key cutting and transponder programming
- Remote and fob replacement or reprogramming
- Key replacement when all keys are lost
- Broken key extraction from door locks and ignitions
Why a spare is worth it
Cutting a spare while you still have a working key is far cheaper than an all-keys-lost job, which can require reprogramming the vehicle's immobiliser from scratch. If you are driving on a single key, that is the one to fix on a quiet weekday rather than at midnight in a car park.
Proof of ownership
For any key cutting or programming work we need to see evidence you are entitled to the vehicle — typically your driver licence together with the registration certificate or comparable documentation. This is standard practice and exists to prevent vehicle theft.
Common questions
- Do you work on all makes and models?
- We cover a wide range of common Australian-market vehicles. Some prestige and very recent models are restricted to dealer equipment. We check before dispatch.
- Can you get into my car if my keys are locked inside?
- In most cases yes, using tools designed to open vehicles without damaging the door, glass or weather seals.
